"Garrett & I met at a wedding. He was the best man and I was the maid of honor, a true romcom story! The proposal was a fairy tale, too, as it happened in my hometown of West Chester, PA during Christmas time. Little did I know but the proposal had been in the works for months! The "yes" moment was just him and I which was amazing but there was a big party waiting for us with our closest friends and family. 5 years and two french bulldogs later we are finally Mr & Mrs!"
All about the dress!
Ashley came to us with a specific look in mind! After a consultation with her stylist, the first gown that came to mind was our Kyla gown by Calla Blanche!
From the bride:
"I completely fell in love with Nicole Johnson's wedding dress (Michael Phelps' wife) and knew that if I could find a dress like hers it would be "the one". When I had my appointment at The White Closet I knew it would be special no matter what because I had my mom with me and my best friend on FaceTime. Believe it or not my perfect dress was the first one I tried on! I knew it was the one immediately but my mom needed a bit more convincing. I tried on three other dresses but nothing compared to the first one! My dress dreams truly came true!"
On Ashley's favorite memory from her wedding day & advice to future brides:
"The party! That's all we really wanted was to just have one big party surrounded by all the people we love. And we definitely accomplished that!"
"My advice to future brides is to stay present throughout the whole planning process, and especially on the big day. The details will start to become overwhelming but know those details you're stressing about will either turn out exactly the way they should or not even be important. Also, hire a wedding planner! I highly recommend One Love by Erica."
