Katrina was glowing when she walked down the aisle in her Stella York 6758 gown. She exchanged personalized vows with her now hubby Allex in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by her closest family and friends. We absolutely love a destination wedding, so of course Katrina & Allex's special day left us in awe!

Wedding Day
From the bride: "Our wedding was in Dahlonega, a small town in north Georgia. Beautiful rolling mountains, the texture of trees and greenery, the warmth of the fireplace and wooden barn, were everything we could of asked for. We accentuated the picturesque scenery with touches of acrylic and black décor and complemented it with killer floral arrangements. There were no frills, no harping on linen colors or over the top décor, there is nothing that can compete with those views or the cooler weather (all Floridians were thankful)! Our wedding wasnt traditional just like our love story. No bouquet or garter toss. My vows were a straight up comedy routine. A flash mob to the Beetlejuice dinner scene and so much more. Every single aspect of our wedding felt like us and it showed."
From the bride: "I have 2 favorite memories from my wedding day. The first would have to be our ceremony. We had a friend as our officiant (she got ordained just for us), and I will tell you there is nothing more special than having someone you know marry you. We choose to write our vows and it was a perfect reflection of who we are as individuals and the love we have for each other. My second favorite memory would have to be a moment at the reception where I just stepped back and looked around. I planned and created every single aspect of our wedding and to see all my hard work result in all our guests having the time of their lives, while celebrating us, was an amazing feeling!"
We absolutely love that Katrina & Allex stayed true to their personalities and how their wedding day reflected that! Because that's what a wedding is really about... celebrating you!
Finding the perfect dress
When Katrina came into our boutique for her bridal appointment, she told us she wanted to find a "bad ass" dress for her mountain wedding! So of course she fell in love with our Antonia gown by Stella York 6758! It's classic and elegant but paired with her bold burgundy lip and black manicure, she looks like a total rock star!
From the bride: "I was beyond nervous to go dress shopping, especially as a plus size bride, but when I got to my appointment there were already dresses for me try on! My favorite part of shopping, besides finding my dress at the first shop/appointment, would have to be that every time I came back, whether it be to order the right size or a fitting, I received the same experience. Super friendly staff that was helpful and made me feel valued as a customer. Huge shout out to Sarah for being the coolest ever! I loved it so much I recommended it to my friend Alycia. Where you all went above and beyond to get in a dress that she wanted to try on, and it was the one!"
Katrina's bridal vision
From the bride: "I am not a girly girl by any means. I have ALWAYS envisioned myself in a black dress, but I came to the realization that I can wear a black dress anytime, and I wanted to feel bridal. The girls will probably remember what I wrote as my bridal style on my form...BADASSY! No one quite knew what that meant, myself included but I knew it would include some drama. To keep with my vision, I added darkness wherever I could. I dyed my hair the blackest black and cascade down my back. For makeup I went with a dark smokey eye and vampy lip! BAD ASS level achieved!"
