The White Closet’s 2025 Sample Sale: What You Need to Know

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to say yes to your dream wedding dress, this is it! The White Closet is hosting a Sample Sale from July 11-13 and it’s highly anticipated for a reason. This is your opportunity to shop stunning designer bridal gowns at seriously discounted prices. If you’re ready to find the one and save big while you’re at it, here’s everything you need to know before booking your appointment! 

What is a Sample Sale?

A Sample Sale is your golden opportunity to score a gorgeous designer wedding gown at a discount - we’re talking up to 75% off! All dresses will be priced between $499 and $1500. 

But here’s what you need to know: these gowns were once our beloved in-store samples. They’ve been tried on, loved, and are now looking for their forever bride. Some may show a little wear, but they’re still stunning - and with a great seamstress (we’ve got one!), your dress will fit like a dream.

Is a Sample Sale Appointment Right for Me?

If you're actively shopping for your wedding dress and ready to say "yes" - then YES, this is for you! If you're just browsing or hoping to “get a feel” for styles, we kindly ask that you book a Preview Appointment instead. This event is for brides who are ready to buy and take home their gown at a discounted price on the same day. 

What Sizes Are Available? Our sample gowns range from bridal sizes 8 to 26, and keep in mind - most dresses can be taken in up to two sizes. So if you’re a size 10 and fall for a 14, we’ll show you how it can work. We're here to help guide you every step of the way.   And if you fall in love with a sample but want to order it brand-new in your size, you can! New gown orders will be 10% off during the sale weekend only. We only have one of each style, so once it’s gone, it’s gone. No holds, no re-dos. This is your moment!

During our Sample Sale, the entire store will be transformed to showcase sample gowns only. That means our usual collection won’t be available to try on. But don’t worry - with over 100 gorgeous styles to choose from, there’s no shortage of options.

If there’s a specific gown you're dying to see, give us a shout ahead of time and we’ll let you know if it's part of the sale.

What About Alterations and Cleaning?

All sample gowns will need some alterations (that’s normal!) and possibly dry cleaning. If you’d like your gown professionally cleaned, we offer that service for an additional fee.
