White Closet Bride Christina

At White Closet, we feel very lucky to get to help brides feel beautiful as they prep for their journey down the aisle. Our favorite part is finally seeing your bridal visions come to life exactly how you dreamed they would, and that was certainly the case for Christina!

Christina and Dalton’s ceremony was held outdoors at the Rusty Pelican, followed by a reception in the venue’s grand ballroom. Floor to ceiling windows basked their celebration with a gorgeous waterfront view, highlighting the ceremony’s emerald green, cream, and gold color palette. From selecting ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ by Frank Sinatra as their wedding recessional to honor Christina’s late grandmother, to naming one of the reception’s cocktails after the couple’s dog, a Maltese named Mia, pieces of the couple’s love story were woven into every detail of their day.

When Christina came into our boutique for her first bridal appointment, she was convinced she wanted a strapless mermaid silhouette, but ended up with something entirely different! “Sarah and the White Closet Bridal team were amazing. They made me feel so comfortable and asked  a bunch of questions to really learn more about my style and big day,” says Christina. Our stylists helped this beautiful bride find a stunning Stella York ball gown, along with the perfect accessories to accompany it, and she looked absolutely jaw-dropping.

Christina’s inspiration for her wedding was modern glam, and 200 of the couple’s family and friends joined them to celebrate! With such a large, spectacular wedding, Christina emphasizes how grateful her and her new husband were to have scheduled private moments for her and Dalton to enjoy their special day between just the two of them, before returning to their crowd. A private sunset photoshoot and a shared glass of champagne before their grand entrance became some of the couple’s most magical memories of their night. Aside from these moments, Christina also shared that she would forever cherish her daddy-daughter dance, for which she surprised her dad with a pre-recorded version of herself singing their song, ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ by Bette Midler.

Congratulations Christina and Dalton! We’re honored to have been part of your special day, and we wish you two a lifetime of happiness.
