At White Closet, one of our favorite parts of the job is finally seeing brides’ unique wedding visions come to life on their big day—and this was certainly true of Meghan! From her fun, bright flowers to the couple’s dogs joining the wedding party, Meghan’s wedding incorporated her personality beautifully into a timeless ceremony with perfect personal touches.
Meghan and Matt’s ranch wedding was nothing short of spectacular. Decorating the large oak they said “I do” under with hundreds of bright blooms gave the entire ceremony a fun, joyous air that perfectly encapsulated this couple’s fun-loving personalities. “Our main goal was to have our wedding not only be fun, but very personal so there were a lot of moments we incorporated into our day that were focused specifically on our relationship and love story,” says Meghan. They chose to have their own private, personalized vows during their first look to create a unique moment just the two of them. They also brought their doodles along for pictures, and had koozies with the pups’ faces for everyone to use during the reception.
When Meghan came in for her appointment, she told us she was searching for a timeless dress she knew she’d look back on in 30 years and still love just as much. We helped Meghan find the gorgeous, simple long sleeve Justin Alexander dress she ended up choosing, making her look absolutely radiant for her wedding day. “Hands down, my favorite part was how quickly the girls made me feel like family at White Closet,” says Meghan, “White Closet Bridal truly has such a family feel that sets them apart from other dress shops.” We loved finally seeing Meghan in the dress on her wedding day, and couldn’t be happier to know she loves the dress just as much as we do!
For a couple with so much love for one another and others, their wedding embodied that perfectly, and no one describes this better than Meghan herself: “Something that really stands out though, would be the love and joy we felt on our day. Even a month later, that overwhelming feeling of love from not only my husband, but our friends and family who attended, doesn't escape me. This is a feeling that I know when we look back on our pictures and video, will immediately come rushing back for years to come. We truly could not have asked for a better celebration with our family and friends as we committed our lives to each other on that beautiful March day.”
